                                      It was quite early in the year when I painted this scene
                                    the foliage was still quite light green 8X10" oil on board

                                             Slightly larger at 10x12" oil on board
                                          I just have to paint this field when they leave the
                                              grasses and wild  flowers to grow naturally

Landscape Close to the Tree Line

                          It was so windy on this morning but found a spot shielded from the elements
                        set up my fishing umbrella for the slight rain and really enjoyed the painting time.

                                   I just love the fields left uncut. The colour makes the painting.
                                          Although the paths do help the composition as well.
